ATMOSPHERIC EMISSIONS LICENSE
The SAIF would like to take this opportunity to remind all Foundry Operators to pay careful attention to the notice on Atmospheric Emissions License.
In accordance to the National Environmental Management Act of 2004, all Foundry Operators are required to apply for their AEL’s with the local authority or municipality by 31st March 2014
Failure to do so would mean that the Foundry is operating illegally and the result could lead to extreme penalties, even closure of the business.
The SAIF will make all efforts to assist Foundries in this regard.
