The mission is to provide sustainable growth and job opportunities in the manufacturing sector and enhance the competitiveness of the South African metal casting industry by offering education, training, and skills development.

SAIF also acts as a platform for engagement and representation of the industry and promotes it as a crucial contributor to the economy, actively engaging with foreign partners to share and collaborate to improve the local industry. Save the date for the NCPC-SA & ARSCP Colloquium
 
The National Cleaner Production Centre South Africa (NCPC-SA) together with the African Round Table of Sustainable Consumption and Production  (ARSCP) will host a hybrid colloquium to unpack the COP27 discussion around Decarbonization and the Just Energy Transition.
 
The event will be hosted on 23 March 2023 at the CSIR ICC in Pretoria and online on MS Teams. There will be follow-up emails leading to the date. For now, please save the date in your calendar.
