This year\, the Sustainable Industries Conference South Africa includes the National Foundry Technology Network (NFTN) Sustainable Foundries workshop – focusing on the metals value chain\, particularly the foundries sector in South Africa.Topics for discussion will include the effects of CBAM\, the challenges of air quality and issues surrounding localisation / local content as a tool for economic growth and sustainable development.More details to follow soon.• The in-person event will be hosted at the CSIR ICC in Pretoria. It is free to attend\, but seats are limited\, so we are urging our industry partners to book now – registration is essential for in-person attendance.• Also\, if you should have a case study or topic of relevance to the themes\, we are still able to accommodate speakers in the programme.
